After graduating from North Carolina State University he went to Campbell University to complete his Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Practice. After getting his degree went into Orthopaedics with a specialty in the spine at Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic in Raleigh, NC. He worked there for five years. He then moved to Morehead City and worked at Lucas Research treating Endocrinology patients for a year. He has been at BeachCare since 2021.
Paul grew up in Raleigh, but his father was born and raised in Morehead City going to West Carteret High School. Paul grew up coming to Morehead City and felt like it was his second home until he made it his permanent home two years ago. When not working he and his spouse, Kari, love to travel, hang out at Cape Lookout, spoil their three dogs, enjoy the beach, and try the multiple restaurants in the area. He also loves to fish or go boating any chance he can get.
