Kristin has been a physician assistant since 2009. In that 12 year time period, She has enjoyed one of the great benefits of being a physician assistant with the flexibility to crossover into different fields of medicine. After graduating from MethodistUniversity with her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies she accepted a position working in obstetrics and gynecology in Fayetteville, NC. She then transferred into the world of urgent care medicine where she discovered her love for emergency and urgent care medicine within the Cape Fear Valley Medical System. Her marriage to her husband brought her to the Crystal Coast where she joined Emergency MedicinePhysicians working in the Emergency Department for 5 years at Carteret General. Kristin recently moved back to the Crystal Coast from Valdez, Alaska where she had been stationed there with her husband and two daughters for the last 4 years working in urgent and family medicine.
Although missing the mountains of beautiful Alaska where she enjoyed hiking, snowshoeing and backcountry skiing she loves life here at the beach. She and her husband, JJ, love taking the boat island hopping with their two girls and labrador. She loves being back on the east coast, closer to family, friends, and to have fellowship again
